SUMMARY
Drugs, success, money, excessive preoccupation with one's look, fear (which may cause violence and depression ) are "the demons of our
times".
The best way to fight them is to refine one's perception of the future (V. ANDREOLI): one should establish durable relationships and use
one's imagination o create dreams and hopes. This theme is largely developed in the present issue, starting with a research made by SERT*,
on "extasy", a terrible drug which many young people consider "light".
Nowadays it is almost a rule for adolescients to have initial experiences with drugs which alter their mood and behaviour. A few drugs
addicts are psichologically (BORSELLI) and graphologically (TRAVAGLINI) analysed.
Possession, a fascinating subject: its various aspects are extensively dealt with by a philosopher (BAGNANI), and by psychologist
(SIMONCINI, REALI) who use graphological analysis to solve difficult clinical cases: in fact, the analysis of handwriting can be a valid
means of prevention and a source of suggestions for diagnosis and therapy.
In this way young people can be helped to reach a balanced personality (LENA).
What about the body? Exasperated attention to the body my lead to phisical and psychical demage (ARIMONDI). Finally, a graphological
analysis of a couple of fiancees to test their compatibility (A. FIORI, M. FOSSATI, L. LAZZARI) and the story of a poet, GIACOMO
LEOPARDI, through his handwriting, which leads us into the present and into the past.
And on to the future, hopefully a better one.
